This is another I shot at the beach in Gulfport, MS. This is the end of the pier. The beach is still not pristine clean here, of course, it really hasn't been one of those "perfect" beaches for years. Prior to Katrina, the Casino money cleaned the beach, but Katrina has cleared Hwy 90 of the homes and businesses as well as subsequent storms have washed up floatsum and jetsam.
The people here are hardy folks, and are rebuilding, though. In this shot the aim was to show the beach, as well as the water. I tried to expose this at a little smaller aperture to get a better depth of focus throughout the foreground and background. |
